Is it worth going to this university?

I was thinking of attending the University of Central Florida and I am hoping of getting into their optometristy program. I know this is not the best school, but I want to go somewhere warm for school. I live in Chicago and was going to move in with my grandparents so I can become an resident. Would if be worth it to do this? If not, what are some nice schools near the Orlando area that would be worth going to?
