Is it worth contesting council tax band D for 1 bedroom apartment in Islington?

I have recently bought a new build (2007) 1 bedroom apartment in Islington (near essex road), only to find out it is Band D, which i think is ludicrous seeing as I previously lived in an ex-council 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom (2 storey apartment) built apx 1920s in Clerkenwell, Islington with views of St Pauls etc and it was also Band D.

The apartment in Clerkenwell would easily fetch over £100k more than my 1 bedroom apartment if they were both on the open market.

Any thoughts?
