i am looking to buy my first bike and decided its going to be a 125cc. The Primary use of the is going to be committing from college and back . However my family also owns a Holiday house which you need to go onto motorway to get to, but would it be wise to go on motorway with 125?
I haven't bought a bike yet , been recommended to buy yamaha or honda , i wouldn't like a dirt bike sort of bike, so i was thinking cbr, cbf , ybr as most race replicas are too expensive any input would be help full thanks

125s may well just scrape to 70mph, but honestly the fuel gauge will plummet!

Plus you wont have anything in reserve to get you out of tight situations that require a burst of speed.

Personally I would plan a route that gives you the pleasure motorbikes are designed to give - bend, twists and roundabouts - none of which are an option on the motorway. Then you get the thrill without the danger of pratts on the motorway.

BTW I'm Honda thru and thru, I would start with good CG 125 then part-ex up from there. Next stop is a CB500, then go for the sporties - a CBR600 may be your best bike ever, but try a sit up n beg first, they feel like proper motorbikes and give you perspective of retro, while having all the performance of a first sports tourer.

it run the speed limit but id get a bigger bike than 125 it would be small and smaller bike on highway wil be like litle old man driving it slow and in the way would be ok to ride a few miles across town but not a road trip type 20 miles would kil your butt on a small bike over a hour riding buy a big bike

If ur still on L plates u cant go on Motorways

But even if u can a 125cc is not really fast aenough to get you out of trouble i want so a 250cc is more better for motorways why not just go on the A roads
