Is it weird to still be missing my mum even tho i didnt know her?

Well i did know her but when she died i was only bout 2 so i cant remember her, i have a step mum now, but i still really wanna see my mum and know her, is this strange? coz i cant even remember her :(
 
that is not weird if you feel that way everyone if different and if that is the way you feel then that is fine
