I know a whole bunch of people who have recently had children, so their children would be just old enough to no longer use many things from when they were a newborn. Once I say anything, I know I'm going to be given a TON of clothes, but I would like to do some shopping myself, it simply seems so redundant since my baby will probably not use half of the things given to me. I know it would save lots of money, but from used clothing stores it wouldn't cost much anyway. I just want to experience the excitement of buying things for baby! Is that weird?
