Is it weird that I'm not really into chivalry?

I don't know why, the idea just sort of weirds me out. I'm not saying that I want the guy to be a jerk or anything, they just have to be respectful I guess. My friends fantasize about getting boyfriends and talk about how he'll give them his sweater when it's cold and buy her lunch everyday etc etc, but those things don't really interest me. Maybe it's because I'm young?
 
To each her own, I guess. For me, chivalry is one big thing I look for in a guy and IMO it's pretty hard to find genuinely chivalrous men today. By chivalrous I don't mean just to his girlfriend but to women in general. Things like holding the door for her, following the "ladies first" and stuff like that more than what you've mentioned.
