Is it weird that I fell in love with this guy I met on an AIM chat room?

Well im 14 and he's 15...well just turned 16. He lives in North Carolina and I live in Ohio. I mean, of course at first we kinda just asked ya know the usuall "asl" then we started talking about our sexuality and stuff and he seemed like a really good guy he didnt seem like a frickin predator lol so we exchanged numbers and now we talk and text all the time and we kinda fell in love in a manner of 3 or 4 months. Its kinda depressing though because its like who knows if we're ever gonna see eachother. We live in totally different parts of the country and its just like we're only pen pals but i still love him. is it weird??? is it!??!? im confused i love him though!!!
 
im in the same situation its not weird ok? yall guys could see eachother eventually just talk to your parents first but if you love him and he loves you then the distance shouldnt matter well thats wat i believe
