is it weird if we only have sex when we've both been drinking?

my bf and i only seem to be able to make love when we've had a few drinks. im attributing it to the plaguing stress. and the how we wanna move in together and but cant afford it. also we got into a car accident where the cops slammed into us and sued us. and won. so were are now running out of money. i feel like i shouldn't be so...."skanky" but we have ben together for about 5 years. and i guess we hit a wall. i just feel weird. im not sure if it me or him or nothing at all. but im not cool with the "drinking then sexing up"...i feel like if i wasn't with him, i might be tempted to sleep with someone else out of habit too. this is all a mess!!!!!! help!!! MEEE!!!!
well things kinda began to slow down when our jobs got weird. and the car accident. its not like we cant be relaxed. we just never see each other in a setting that provides sex, unless were making out at a party. its like our only opportunities. but its nothing aggressive happening. were just finally able to relax. but i should state were not f.u.b.a.r....but tipsy, when the sexi begins.....
 
If you need to be drunk to sleep together, you probably aren't completely happy with him. Sometimes relationships get boring after such a long time, maybe you could try something new in the bedroom when you are both sober. If you maybe give him a massage with some nice oils it might put you both more in the mood. Me and my boyfriend like to try new things and it keeps our sex life very good, we love to have sex, but not very often. We have sex 1-2 times a week and often we find that the wait between sex sessions makes us look forward to having it and we put everything into it. We are getting along great.
If you don't 'love' him anymore then its not worth being together, and if you feel you've 'hit a wall' this is not a good sign, me and my ex did and our relationship could not have been worse, he raped me once because i refused sex when we were BOTH drunk. Im sorry this message is so long, i just had a lot to say. I hope i helped, even a tiny bit. SPICE IT UP!!! :) Or move on...?
