Is it weird how I spell my name? Is my name unoriginal? What do you think of my name?

The other day my friend Jake came up to my and was like hey Kimee! And I said Hi back of course, and we were just talking. Then he said Kimee again and stopped as I looked up. The he said..

"Why are you called Kimee? Its so unoriginal!"

I was shocked, and he also said how I spell my name (K-I-M-E-E) is unique, but totally stupid. I replied...

"Its my name, I like it."

Then he walked away.

Now, I am not complaining or anything. I do have an awesome name.
Alot of people think so. My full name Kimberly Cathrine Lomon___ (Idk why I didnt put my whole name up, there are some creepers out there)
Is 8 letters each name. And It has a nice ring.

So am I unorginal, is my name spelled bad, and do you like my name?

(Do not leave answers stating be yourself and what not. I do love my name, im just asking you people. Also I spell it K-I-M-E-E cause thats how it sounds and its aweome.)

It's fine, sounds good too. Are you sure he is your friend? He sounds like a mean, vicious rude and thoughtless person who likes to put people down to make himself feel good. He has such an original and interesting name, doesn't he......
 
My name was a mistake. My mom wanted to call me ilen but she put iley(eye-lee) instead. But in chinese culture it mean pretty flower i think.
