i was just wondering because my brother is the lead guitarist of this band (sylvia likens) and we are black...well actually we are 1/3 black, 1/3 indian, and 1/3 white. but mostly i look black. but i dont "act black" im not gangster or gehtto or anything like that. i play guitar and skateboard and listen to heavy metal. it feels so weird because whenever i go to his concerts im like the only black there and it feels like i should be at a lil wayne concert instead.(i HATE lil wayne) it just doesnt feel right. is it ok for me to like metal.
is it weird for a black person to like heavy metal and music like that?
