Is it weird for a 21 year old girl to just want a romantic friendship?

A "romantic friendship" refers to a very close but non-sexual relationship between friends. You hold hands, cuddle, share a bed, but it's not the same as a "friends with benefits" because there's no sexual relations involved.

Anyways, I just want someone a bit more special than my other friends to spend time with, without all the sexual stuff.

My friend thinks it's weird for someone my age to want that. He thinks I should be enjoying sex...

I really don't want any of that though. Am I weird?
 
Sounds like you want to love and feel loved. I can't imagine many people going through that but getting nothing in return. It's pretty normal; I suggest getting a dog.
