...keep that from happening? We might be moving soon and my landlord is expecting us to replace the carpet. It has stains, but it is not damaged. I have lived in apartments and have always gotten my full deposit back because I do not damage the facility. Is it typical, when leaving a house, to replace the carpets? Or, does the land lord usually keep the deposit to replace them? Again, we have not damaged the house at all, just stains on the carpet. No pets and no other damages what so ever.
