Is it typical for Cancer to have violent mood swings?

Fine one minute, and violently angry for no purpose or reason at all? That they dwindle within this anger and resentment and try to spread it onto others? Nothing seems to 'satisfy' them, it is as if you are walking on eggshells. I may be wrong but a lot of cancers i know do this, including my former best friend.

Cancers, have you ever felt yourself going through this? If so, why do you decide to wallow and encourage negative emotions?
