I read this in a book a long time ago. It was about astronomy, but it was generally scientific, although a work of vulgarization. (I am sorry, this was a long time ago. My memory of what I read is a bit hazy).
But there was one claim in that book that stated either a) Amino acids, or even B) Unicellular or perhaps C) Some other sign of life, had been found on a meteorite here on earth, thus proving that the process we know on Earth had also occurred elsewhere to some degree.
Does anybody have any idea what this might be referring to, and whether or not it is accepted by the scientific mainstream?
