Is it true that weird things come out at midnight?!?

My mom told me that wierd things wander, and come out at midnight, thats why its not good to be outside, idk. thats what she told me i believe that. But is it ture, or is it a myth(legend) ? !? what do you think???
im muslim so i believe in that,and ive stayed up till 9 in the morning, i couldnt sleep lol
