I've read that even if you are only halfway through your T Mobile contract, they'll let you switch to EE for free, without paying off the remaining T Mobile contract. I put down a ?25 deposit today, to be able to get a new 16gb iPhone, which will be deducted from the ?109 they're charging for the phone. I realise I will have to start fresh with a new 2-year contract. My current contract is ?45 a month, but at the TMobile shop they said I could get the ?41 monthly contract. I'm hearing conflicting things now, while waiting for my new iPhone & I'm going to be pretty irate if I've been given false info. Does anybody know what the true story is? I'm not even in a 4G area, I am just trying to get the new iPhone 5 and didn't mind paying ?109 for it, but I will mind A LOT if I have to pay off any of my remaining contract, even at a discount. I've been with T Mobile for years, so switching for free should be exactly that. They are all the same company anyway,
