According to this site: http://www.samesexmarriage.ca/legal/ontario_case/appeal/pride_week_marriage.htm
It is true.

It clearly states, "When couples who marry in Canada come home -- they will be as married as any people on the planet."

There are designated states that recognize "foreign same sex marriages" when they come from another country; like norway, netherlands, belgium, spain, or south africa. Those states are as follows: NY, RH, NM.....and of course, MA, CT.

However, Canada appears to be the exception to the rule. A Canadian same-sex-marriage is valid in all 50 U.S. states!

And many Americans have visited Canada just to get married and come back to the U.S.
U.S. & Canada honor each other's marriages.
and there is no residency requirement to get married in Canada. They can be from the U.S., have no intention to move to Canada, and get married there on any given notice.

I hadn't heard of that, nor does that sound right that *only* the ones from Canada would be recognized in all 50 states. Why, are you planning on getting "married" in Canada now?

How about most States

Also marriages performed by a Sea Captain in International waters is legal. The "Love Boat" has been performing gay weddings for years.
