no matter how loving or caring, if they are depressed, or unconfident, or have imcompetent partners, or personality disorders, or came from unstable backgrounds, or anything like that, social workers might decide they are unfit mothers, take the kids away and have the mother sent to jail where they will be scalded with boiling water for child abuse

Moon, I didn't mean scalding as a legal punishment but as a regular occurence of punishments dished out by working class prisoners in jail to people convicted of sex or child crimes, as a form of social organisation and council estate mentality..........a bit like the people who used to turn up to watch hangings for a day out
