Is it too much for me to workout at home and at a gym?

I'm a beginner at working out and I was wondering if it would be too much if I was to first do some push ups and some other stuff at home with some light weights and then go to the gym later on in the day and use the machines and lift some more. Do you think it would be too much because my muscles don't seem that tired when I just do one or the other in one day?
 
Everybody is different and recovers differently. I would say you should have no problems doing pushups everyday, several times a day, and what ever other exercises you want to do. Pushups are more of a conditioning exercise so it should be fine. Be mindful that you can hurt those muscles. Remember that your body does need time to recover, so make sure you're alternating areas of focus.
