Alright, so here is the story as brief as possible.
First, I have tried to join the ROTC before but in the end, I just quit after the first day. The reason behind it was that I saw my brother getting interested in the army and I just want him to be safe so I backed off hoping he would too. I know, kind of selfish, but I just want my brother to be safe. I returned my equipment a couple of days after I got it. That was a year ago.
As to present circumstances, I am going to be a junior this year and will be in college for 5 years. I have read into everything, so I know that too catch up, next summer I would have to take the Leadership Training Course.
I was wondering if any of you thought that maybe I have burnt my bridges too quickly and that the chance has passed for me to try this out for real, or do you think that it is not too late to try this out.
Thank you for taking the time to hear me out and answer my question. It truly means a lot to me.
And no, I am not talking about JROTC. I am in college. I am talking about the ROTC that leads you to becoming commissioned.
