Is it too early or too late to make reservations at the olive garden in philadelphia

for new years eve? My friends and I want to get together for dinner new years eve and so I though the olive garden in philly, but we're having complications with work and so I thought it would be best to make reservations and my one friend said to not bother because it would be too late to reserve by now anyways, and I'm just thinking, it's the olive garden, not chez pierre or some shiz, do you think it would be too late?
