Have an 8 year old standard definition RCA 27"TRUFLAT Flatscreen tv. Has been great and the picture still looks amazing. Sound is awesome too.
Even though the RCA is flat screen, it's one of those huge ones that takes up so much space and weights 111 lbs. It's 27". probably about 3x3x3ft. just a huge big box
These new LED TVS are so slim. And now they're affordable. 8 years ago could have gotten one for the same price as the RCA, if they had been around.
Is it time for an upgrade? Can get a 26" LED Nice one that is 1.5 inches thick (compared to about the 3ft RCA) and the LED weighs 11lbs compared to 111lbs.
The LED can even just go on my wall, thus saving sooo much sq. ft. space in the room.
The problem is, can i justify getting a new LED even though the heavy and bulky RCA still works completely fine????
