is it time to have sex with my bf?

me and my bf have been together for 3 years. im 11 and he is 11. i was wondering since we have been dating so long should we have sex or should we wait? but do u think that he has thought about having sex with mi? and we have talked about having sex like staying safe and everything.

(p.s. i have my period and he has not started puberty i think)
