Is it the right time for sex?

I am 19 and I am new into all this gay relationship. I got a boyfriend recently and he is 28, he has his own place and he wants me to move into his place. We have been going out for two months and all this while he respects me, and I dont know if its the right time for sex. He once told me hes ready whenever Im ready and he has promised me to take it slowly. What do you all think?

ps- I still live with my parents.
