Is it the F1 car or the F1 driver?

Jenson Button led ALL 58 laps and won his 2nd GP in Australia this weekend (2009 ING Australia GP). Many think this guy was washed up. Buy true pundits argue if you don't have the machine, you ain't gonna win (straightup at least).

Where was Alonso? Raikkonen? Hamilton? regardless of diffusers, my point is once a car/team has an advantage over others, they have a huge advantage over the midfield. Renault, McLaren, Ferrari, etc. all have had advantages of their own in the past, which enabled their drivers to fight for GP wins and championships.

Wanna impress me? Put Schumacher in a minardi, Alonso in a Force India and you think they're going to win?

Button and his likes get an unfair stigma for NOT having a great car in the past to drive. Look what happens when armed with the class of the field? a win!

Makes me question how easy Schumacher had it for several years to total several champs under his belt (Todt-Brawn-Bryne tandem)
