It's embarrassing to admit this, but the final few pages of Ulysses were so amazing that they actually made me cry. That's never happened to me with a book before. Did that happen to anyone?
Not with that book. I've never read it before. The first book to ever make me cry was Bridge to Teribithia when I was eleven. I thought it was really weird that I was crying over a book and tried to get myself to stop, but it was so sad! Poor Jess....
Now when a book makes me cry, I see it as the author being so great an author that they can actually make their reader cry. That's talent, in my opinion.
