Is it strange for a black girl to get upper lip injections?

I'm moderately displeased with the size of my lips and I am strongly considering getting non surgical, non permanent injections to obtain the result of a larger upper lip. I am asking here because I cannot receive a serious answer from my family and friends as they think it is one huge joke that I, being black, would like lip injections. I don't see anything wrong with it however. I recently have also lost weight (not shown in the pictures) and I think that the injections would give an extra confidence boost.

On a side note: I desperately want a nose job but the lip issue is cheaper to fix and more pertinent to me.
