Is it safe to take my 3 mo son to a cookout (campfire style)? I am worried about the smoke...
We would just be there a few hours to eat w family not 'camping'

He will be fine just don't let the smoke blow in his face of anything like that.

ake the baby camping, and make sure not to sit downwind and too close! It'll be fine! And if you really wanted to stay and camp too, there's not harm in that either!!

Absolutely. Besides, the fresh air will do you both a lot of good! I took my daughter, Avary, camping when she was 5 1/2 months old. It was a family reunion kind of thing and we were out there all weekend. She was just fine. Just bring extra layers of clothes and try to keep him out of the smoke. As the wind shifts the smoke will too but you'll just have to play musical chairs, no big deal. And make sure n one burns anything that may create a chemical release in the smoke, like styrofoam or tin cans, plastics, etc. Chemicals like that can affect anyone, but especially baby. Just go and have a great time! Like I said, it will probably do you both a lot of good! Cheers!

I think it would be fine...I would just make sure the smoke isn't blowing in his direction!

I think it would be fine as long as there are no chemicals burning on the fire would (gasoline, etc) and make sure you keep the baby on the opposite side of which ever the wind is blowing the smoke and obviously keep baby away from flames.

I think it will be fine... I took my daughter camping when she was 2 months old for the weekend (in a tent)lol just keep him from the direct smoke and heat and he will be fine.
