My car's low coolant light came on last night while I was driving. I am short on cash until payday Friday (ugh). I was told by numerous people that since winter is over, its safe to put some water in the overflow & it will mix in with the coolant I already have in there & that will hold me over until Friday. I have a 1998 Ford Taurus, is this indeed safe?
OK...one more thing...how MUCH water do I put in??
I dont have a leak, Ive only had the car a year and this is the first time Ive had the light come on, I made it all winter. So I just need a bottle of Antifreeze...im just poor until payday lol...thank you everyone!!!
