Can I get caught leeching and seeding torrents downloaded from IPTorrents.com using my college internet? I recently got an invite to use IPTorrents.com from a friend and he said it's one of the safest torrent websites out there. Since the only tracker for the torrents is IPTorrents.com I was wondering if I could safely use the schools internet for downloading. I attend a state university and I've heard of a few students getting caught using torrents with the schools internet. My guess is that they were using torrents from a public torrent site like piratebay. I really want to use the schools internet because it's lightning fast 90+ MBs in some locations. Does anyone know if I'm safe to use the schools network or should I continue to exchange movies via Starbucks?
