If you should find ur self in need of warranty, just un-jailbreak. Yes, you can do that. Verizon wont know the difference....well, if you do it right haha.

if ever, you find urself asking, "hmmm i wonder what will happen if i...." or, "something's not working, let me see if i can fix it by....", MAKE SURE you've read about it, else you risk screwing up ur phone to a point of no return.....tho thats not really likely.
