My stepdaughter has an 03 focus that the engine light came on. Its been kind of jolting while shifting on occasion, but other than that runs awesome. The people at the ford house say its the solenoid B, but I wont have the money to fix it for about a month. Is it safe for her to drive it during that time? What is a solenoid, and does that mean the whole transmission is going out or what?
