You know what, it depends on the individuals. I think it's awesome when someone accomplishes great things but other people get all jealous. I hate that. I would think you are excited about your future, but then there's those other people so.......it really depends. I guess I wouldn't tell anyone about it unless they asked but that's me.

Let's say you're accepted 5 MONTHS EARLY to some pretty well-known universities abroad - and you've even been awarded a massive scholarship.
Would it be rude/show-off-ish if you told everyone about it? Or if you posted it on Facebook?
... Just wondering about university etiquette.
P.S. FYI I'm not talking about me here! There's just this girl who won't stop talking about all the acceptance letters she's received and all the scholarships she's won.
I'm happy for her and all, but she won't stop talking about it - and it's getting quite annoying
