I ordered this soup at an itialian restaurant tonight and it was so terrible I had to ask the waiter if he could take it back. He said it was no problem and gave me a different soup and did not charge me for the one I did not like.
Is this customary? Was it rude of me to give it back?
I did tip well though.
@Bob- I felt horrible giving it back. I know if i ordered it i should know what i like, but it was the "Soup of the Day" and it did sound good with ingredients i like. I just could not eat it.
