Is it required to obtain a lawyer to petition the court for expungement of a felony

charge? Ive read some information on the steps to follow to seek an expungement of a felony, but wasn't sure if it is required to obtain a lawyer or if you could file paperwork yourself.
 
you can do it yourself. In my town they have had workshops that help with this. Ask legal aide if there is help in your town
