My bf and I used to be business partners but it caused a lot of problems. So we stopped working together. He said he would like to continue working on our relationship if I agree to have no financial dealings with him in the future. He said he doesn't even want to ever talk to me about money. I told him no relationship should be built upon any conditions, not to mention its not practical to have no financial involvement in between a couple unless they never intend to have a marriage. I said it's fine for me to not have any financial involvement with him right now since we are not married. But if there is no care and love in our relationship, I won't be able to continue because it is much more important than money. Then he wrote back saying he can't give me what I'm asking for and want to pull off everything.
I do think its abnormal for 2 people in a marriage to have no financial dealings. But am I wrong?
