Is it possible to wire to wire home stereo speakers/subs into a car without

taxing the alternator? I have a 94 S10 Blazer, and the speakers in the rear doors sound bad. (buzzing, crackling, etc) I know I could just buy new speakers for the doors, but I'm not sold on having another set of speakers in the same location. Even on a low volume setting, you can still hear the door vibrate... and that just makes it sound like it belongs in the hood. I'm planning on putting new speakers in the cargo area, but before I purchase new speakers, I want to know if my home stereo speakers will work instead. They are JVC "Giga Tube" speakers. (See link for picture: http://www.jvc.ca/en/consumer/archived-product-detail.asp?model=MX-GT80 )

Type:3-Way, Bass-Reflex
Power Handling Capacity: 130W (Subwoofer) 55W (Main Speaker)
Impedance: 6 ohms (Subwoofer), 6 ohms (Main Speaker)

I know car speakers are 4 ohms, and standard home stereo speakers are normally 8 ohms, but the fact that these are 6 ohms makes me wonder if it's possible to do this. I run stock 5x7 inch speakers in the dash, the ones to be removed are stock 6.5 inch speakers, and I run a Kenwood KDC-MP145 head unit in the truck. Not sure if that helps. Basically, I just don't want to tax the alternator into premature failure. Any feedback would be appreciated. :)
