I am about to graduate next year. I was a scout team safety on a championship D1-FCS football team my freshman year and I showed promise to step into a special teams role the next year. But I left the team my sophomore year after being sidelined with nagging injuries resulting in weight loss and major set backs. I have since fully recovered and I have regretted leaving the team ever since. I have an opportunity to go to grad school at Penn State and I was curious as to the eligibility rules regarding grad students. Does anyone know if I could walk on?
And for all those out there that want to shoot me down before answering- I am not looking to step in and play like some all star/fairy tail. I am realistic. I simply want to be a part of a football team and experience the atmosphere again. I would be more than happy with another scout team role. I am 6'1, 200 lbs, I bench 365 and run a 4.55 40 yard dash. I also set the tackling record at my high school.
