Restore to 4.0.1, then jailbreak phone with redsn0w_win_0.9.5b5-3. After that install afc2add via cydia, then unlock without wifi (see sticky). Then you are all good to go

yes it is possible you have to choose to jailbreak 4.0 with redsnow.......it will work for 4.0.1 because the 4.0.1 upgrade doesnt change baseband....so its no problem to jailbreak and unlock

1. First i restore phone with Itunes. Phone get ver 4.0.1
2. I start redsnow and i use v.4.0
3. Connect to wi fi
4. Start Cidia
5. Unlock The phone.
Now its unlocked....

can you say after restoring to 4.1 if the phone is slow in its operations???

4.0.1 i didnt use but 4.0 for 3g its rubbish my phone become very slow some times programs didnt start some times off and even i didnt activate multitask
