Is it possible to unlock an iPhone and use it on Telus' network?

I was thinking of getting my iPhone 3GS unlocked and using it on Telus network because the plans are better, but if I can't use it when its unlocked I might as well cancel my contract and get an iPhone through Telus. I only ask since Telus now has chip phones
 
Hi dont worry you need to buy new iphone from telus network ..Sure your iphone 3GS will freely work with telus sim once it is unlocked ..If you want to unlock iphone 3gs then have a look at sites like MobileUnlockSolutions.com here they are rendering remote unlocking service to unlock your iphone ..After unlocking it you can freely use it with any GSM sim....
