Is it possible to transfer songs from an iPod to PC?

I had to reformat my PC, and I ended up losing all my songs. Luckily, I still have them on my iPod but the problem is if I install itunes it will clear all my old songs and besides I want the songs on my PC. So, is there a program that lets me drag songs from my iPod to PC? When I try to browse the iPod drive it only shows like Photos, calenders, Contacts, Notes...

use MUSIC RESCUE it works i use it to recover my music when my computer crashed i read it in my local newspaper just download the trial
