I have been studying Teaching English as a Second Language (B. Ed.) for 3 years now, but I still have 1 year left to do before I get my diploma. Somehow I feel like I know more than someone who received a TEFL certificate after studying this field for 1 month.. Do you think that some schools would be willing to hire me without diploma? Has anyone experienced this? I heard that some schools are willing to hire people who speak English as a first language, even if they don't have any certificate\experience. Unfortunately, English is not my first language. What do you think are my chances of getting a teaching job abroad?
