video and print it much larger? I took video using a Flip camcorder and saved an image from one of the frames. Now the image is saved in my pictures on my laptop. Would it be possible to bring the picture somewhere and have them enlarge and print the picture. To make it much larger without losing the quality of the image (image is only about an inch big now)? Does anyone work for a printer, or know about printing?

Screwdriver is totally right.

You need to take your image file to a custom or pro lab... they will be able to explain why making prints form video is difficult it not impossible.

Once they explain the concept of shooting still images vs. video to you, you will not be tempted to use this method to capture images for prints.

Contrary to popular opinion there is a way to get the best enhancement of the image that is possible, of course GIGO (garbage in you get Garbage out).

Without seeing the image I can not say what the case is with it in particular, but I have had success with enlarging a postage stamp to 8x10 without much loss of detail. Of course, the image to start with was in good shape.

The process is known as 10% redundancy enlargement where you enlarge the image by 10%, then again by 10% and so forth until you reach the size you want. You might try it, or you may send the image to me at [email protected] and I will see what I can do. No guarantees, but I will do my best!
