Is it possible to stop the access point / internet connect prompt

For many apps I get a prompt each time I start about which access point I want to use to send and recieve data. If I trust the app, is there anyway to set a default connection such that the app (google maps for example) doesn't prompt me to allow the connection, and instead simply connects to the access point I have specified when it starts up?

P.S. I tried a search, but I wasn't sure what search tearms, and internet access prompt returned several hundred threads.

It depends on the app.

Symbian-native apps (.sis files) you can select their default access point, and let them connect automatically.

Java apps (google maps, opera mini, anything that's not a .sis file) you can't, as they don't have as much access. The main purpose for this is built-in security, you wouldn't want a java app to just start downloading crap. Also java apps are easier to create than .sis, and thus are more likely to be used for bad stuff.

You can go into the Apps Manager (in the tools folder, unless you moved it) and highlight the app, left softkey (options) and go down to Settings or Suite Settings. There you can select different levels of access, but I tried with my N73 and Google Maps this morning and it still asks me.
