Hello, my name is Gabe. I was in a pretty bad motorcycle accident 10/21/2008, which left me with a shattered pelvis and broken hand. I was 17 at the time, and had no clue of the legal issues surrounding me. I received $100k from the insurance as well. I was wondering, since im now 18, if its possible for me, as an individual to sue the person that caused the accident? I really don't think $100k is enough for everything that I have been through and will go through. ( To those that think im inconsiderate, you have no clue what ive been through. Months of agonizing pain (words cant truly explain), I no longer can run, I walk with a limp, my Doctor told me I need a hip replacement, and i have nerve damage.)
Is it possible to still sue? What type of lawyer do I need to consult with?
