I bought my elderly non-technical Dad an IPad last year and I have been paying for 3G service since he has no home PC or wifi. He gets frustrated with the data limits and the slow download speed. I don't want to buy a PC just to get a broadband router and wireless network installed to use with his IPad. I dont mind paying for broadband internet or cable modem & wireless router, but I dont want to buy him a PC he wont need and is unikely to use. Any suggestions?
Is it possible to set up a wireless home network for use with an IPad without a PC or laptop?
