My best friends dad has stage four cancer. He has had two surgeries in the last month and he is about to lose his insurance. He isn't able to work while dealing with all the treatments. I want to set up a bank account for him that anyone can deposit money into but only he or his wife can with drawl money from. He is a very proud person and I know he and his wife wouldn't agree to go to the bank with me. Can I set up the account without them there?
Is it possible to set up a bank account for someone without their knowledge and consent?
