the mac laptop my brother has, has a battery that dies within 10 minutes and sometimes the charger doesnt work on it so the laptop is kind of done. it was an ibook G4.
i have an iMac G5 with mac OS X 10.4 (tiger) and it was pretty much the same thing as the laptop except it has a lot more memory. we were gonna put his iphone on this computer but it requires him to sync the iphone and that will erase all the songs and his content on it and most of the stuff he has such as music will be deleted and he doesnt always have access to his mac laptop since it sometimes fails at turning on. i was wondering if there is a program so that i can rip the songs from his iphone to this computer so he'll have all his songs safely ripped from the iphone to the new computer without making itunes delete everything from his music library. if possible, are there any free programs because i heard some require us to pay to do that.
