is it possible to pre order a game under another name at gamestop?

let say for example.....i want to get call of duty black ops for a friend and he lives in another state, can i pre order the game under his name, pay in full, so he can just go and pick it up? I know i could just send him the cash but i wanted to get this for him so by the time the game comes out he can just pick it up.
