Is it possible to personally explore the "gas giants"?

Does whatever chemical that makes up most, if not all of these planets make them unvisitable by astronauts? Upon checking Wikipedia I discover that Uranus and Neptune consist of a hydrogen atmosphere that caps a sea of water, methane, and ammonia. Those elements are here, right? So they sound harmless enough, but navigating thru a ton of it still seems daunting, but not impossible to my untrained scientific ears. Jupiter and Saturn consist of molecular hydrogen and "metallic" hydrogen (?)....sounds pretty intense. Don't know if the spacesuit can withstand something I never heard of before.
So, is manned exploration out of the question?
